File and instructions for BetaV6 Testing the DM8000HD OpenPLi 4.0 Japhar
This is the latest version, you need to comply to all points below,
1) Download the file from the MEGA link below (after screenshot of new OpenPLi 4.0)
2) If you received your sim prior to June 1st 2015, reprogram your Sim card with the latest OS Japhar. If you already reflashed with Beta OS then you dont need to reflash it again. This new OS is backward compatible, so it will work with all images prior published, so you can easily return back to your image.
3) Install the new NFI image (extracted from the MEGA file linked below).
4) The JAM 5.2 / FAM 5.2 is already installed so you have access to Addons, we are populating it as previously it had only OE1.6, now we are adding OE2.x plugins.
5) The image already has the IPTV channel list (700+ channels), that you can update regularly from the JAM 5.2, IPTV Section. This is on Favourites List (if you don't load it at setup, otherwise install IPTV Channel List from JAM 5.2
P.S.: Remember that on DM8000HD you could have to boot few times until you have the full OpenPli logo as on screenshot below, and only then you can continue testing.
For the Japhar, you will need to use a PC/SC Programmer (like Health card programmer, Windows Login smartcard reader, etc... or our preferred GCR2 available at http://www.gemplustore.com/)
- Gstreamer 1.6.x has been updated
- Newer gstreamer 1.6.x master git snapshot:
They've pretty much reworked HLS (m3u8) handling completely.
There should be no more jumps when switching bitrates.
- DTS Downmix should now be working on the dm800se, dm500hd and dm8000.
Also pausing the video should work now (untested).
- Fragmented streams work now (m3u8)
- Remote control delay is now set by default to 300ms
- Feeds online for online update of image and future updates/fixes if necessary.
- Improved streaming performance in both the dvbmediasink and enigma2, Dreambox fixes for the dvbmediasink:
Framerate and resolution should now be handled correctly.
- Fragmented streams should now play more smooth and give less freezes due to async changes.
- IPTV List and JAM 5.2 Panel are now pre-shipped.
- Japhar Addon Manager 5.2 included.

Known issues:
- DM800 first boot will take a while, please be patient. The next boot will be faster.
- On spark/spark7162 you need to set 'boxtype = dreambox' for oscam dvbapi.
We're using the OE-A drivers and 'duckbox' doesn't seem to work on these.
- On spark/spark7162 you need to set a skin which doesn't resize the framebuffer.
Because sometimes it doesn't scale back to fullscreen.
I've included the MX-HQ7 skin for use as workaround.
- On Zgemma Star you cannot use fullHD skins.
This is a hardware/driver limitation.
Please don't try it, it will crash enigma2.
Update online or get the new version on the web.

Ive added a dirty hack that will upx compress the binary before package_write_ipk
We now have 2 to 3MB more free space (very nice, great success)
- New xvid/divx5 bitstream unpacker by mx3L, this should fix avi files with wrong fourcc
- The usual batch of dvbmediasink fixes by christophecvr and mx3L
- Wifi drivers have been refactored a bit, I dont auto-load the rt7777 anymore.
it should kick in when you plugin your wifi stick.
If not then Ill create a ppanel which will allow you to choose which driver you want to use: rt3070, rt55xx or rt7777 (since they cant be loaded at the same time)

- New gstreamer 1.9.0.1 recipes based on christophecvr's github (small changes for PLi4)
- Upgrade glib2.0 and some other components like gobject-introspection to satisfy the new gstreamer recipes
